Biliran is the Top Rice Producing Province in Region 8, such that positive interventions from NGAs and other organizations supporting our rice production is very much welcome. Ms. Victoria C. Lapitan of PhilRice Bicol (which also covers Region 8) and her team RCEF Coordinator Engr. Romeo River and Techno Demo Officer Niel Boy Paz pay a courtesy visit to Governor Dok Roger Espina and presented results of their research on different varietal trials of rice varieties that might be suitable for growth in Biliran Province.
