Governor Rogelio J. “Dok Roger” Espina lead the opening of the Season-Long Training on High-Value Crops (HVC) and Corn Production cum Climate Smart Farm Business School (CSFBS) in Barangay Uson, Caibiran.
30 participants will join the 16-week program with weekly lectures and hands-on activities to boost local farming and sustainability.
Gov. Espina encouraged farmers to work hard and aim for self-reliance, noting the need to reduce dependence on vegetables from other regions. He also acknowledged the support of partner organizations in providing equipment like a key net for a processing plant to help farmers improve production and food safety.
