Biliran Shines as Regional Winner!

The Province of Biliran proudly emerged as the Regional Winner in the 2025 Search for the Best Grant-in-Aid (GIA) Project in Eastern Visayas.

The winning project, “Production of Organic Fertilizer from Market Wastes using DOST-ITDI Dual Drum Composter,” showcases innovation, sustainability, and strong community partnership.

Implemented through the Provincial Agricultural Services Office, this initiative turns market and farm wastes into high-quality organic fertilizer. It has brought tangible benefits such as:
