The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Biliran, presided over by Hon. Brigido “Kokoy” C. Caneja III, as Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations, conducted the final deliberation per department today on the proposed 2026 Annual Budget of the Provincial Government.

Each provincial office and department presented and justified their respective budget proposals before the SP members, ensuring that all programs and projects are responsive to the province’s development priorities and the needs of Biliranons.

The completion of the departmental deliberations marks the final step before the proposed budget is presented and tackled in plenary session for approval. The SP remains committed to transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of public funds to deliver quality public service across all sectors.
