Biliran proudly celebrated the culmination of the La Ruta Adventure Race – ARWS Asia Championship 2025 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, honoring the incredible strength, teamwork, and unbreakable spirit of racers from around the world.

Representing Governor Rogelio J. Espina, Board Member Brigido Caneja III delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude and admiration to all athletes, partners, and volunteers. The Governor extended his congratulations to every racer who conquered rivers, forests, mountains, and rugged terrains—proving resilience, discipline, and heart.

The event was graced by ARWS Asia Series Regional Director Ajita Madan, who praised Filipino hospitality, the dedication of volunteers, marshals, medics, media teams, and the unforgettable effort of every racer. She also celebrated Team Dirt (Philippines) for making history as the first Philippine team to win an ARWS Asia Championship leg.

DOT Region VIII Regional Director Karina Rosa Tiopes honored the winners, applauded the courage of all participants, and expressed deep gratitude to LGUs, communities, responders, and partners whose support made this international race possible.

Race Director Jason Garrido extended his appreciation to all volunteers and supporters, reminding everyone that adventure continues beyond the finish line—each conquered challenge tells a story worth sharing.
