Province of Biliran’s Bahay Pag-Asa Wins National Award
A Triumph of Compassion and Collective Effort for Biliran’s Youth
The Province of Biliran proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone as our Bahay Pag-asa Biliran, under the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), is awarded First Place in the nationwide Search for Good Practice of Bahay Pag-asa (BPA) Implementation by the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC).
The prestigious award was presented during the Culminating Event of the 14th Juvenile Justice and Welfare Consciousness Week on November 28, 2025, at the Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Quezon City.
This honor is a heartfelt victory for the entire Provincial Government of Biliran—a testament to what we can achieve when compassion, leadership, and teamwork come together.
To God be the Glory! Our service is guided by divine grace, inspiring us to uplift the vulnerable with purpose and heart.
Inspired Leadership: Our deepest appreciation to 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝑹𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒐 𝑱. 𝑬𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂 for his steadfast support and unwavering commitment to championing the welfare of Biliran’s youth.
The Heart of the Mission: This award mirrors the dedication of the PSWDO Team, Bahay Pag-asa Team, Provincial Crisis Center (PCC) Team, the entire Capitol Family, and the passionate group known as the “Nutcrackers.” Your compassion continues to break barriers and open doors for our children.
Along with the recognition comes a ₱150,000.00 cash prize, which will be used to purchase computers for the Bahay Pag-asa residents. This investment will strengthen computer literacy programs—empowering our youth with vital digital skills for education, personal development, and future reintegration into society.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) for their continuous support. Their guidance allows us to create sustainable, impactful interventions for children at risk and children in conflict with the law.
This achievement inspires us to strive even harder—to uplift, restore, and empower Biliran’s youth through programs that open new possibilities and build brighter futures.
Thank you, JJWC, for this incredible honor. And thank you to everyone who believes in our mission of hope and transformation.
To God be the highest glory!
