As the year draws to a close, we proudly celebrate a milestone that honors the passion, innovation, and perseverance of young agri-entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of Philippine agriculture.
The 2025 Young Farmers Challenge highlights the vital role of youth in advancing sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agribusiness. These young farmers exemplify how vision, dedication, and innovation can transform ideas into meaningful impact for our communities.
We proudly recognize the provincial-level awardeesโApril Luana, Amrylle Sale, Emily Plantilla, and Philip Virgo Oledanโeach receiving a โฑ80,000 financial grant as start-up capital for their agribusiness ventures. This support will help convert promising ideas into sustainable enterprises that contribute to food security, rural development, and local livelihoods.
Further elevating this achievement, April Luana was named Regional Awardee, earning an additional โฑ150,000 grant. This distinction reflects exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence, and serves as an inspiration to fellow young farmers across the region.
We extend our sincere gratitude to DA-AMAD Region VIII for the mentoring, technical assistance, and capacity-building programs that have equipped our young farmers with the skills and confidence to pursue their agri-dreams. These initiatives have strengthened both their projects and their resolve to lead a future-ready agricultural sector.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to
