The Provincial Government of Biliran continues to translate its vision of inclusive development into concrete action through the Patubig sa Barangay program—bringing clean, safe, and reliable water closer to communities across the province.

On January 12, 2026,𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙤 𝙅. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖,

together with 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚, 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐁𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐱,personally led the distribution of water pipes to selected barangays in the Municipality of Culaba. The activity underscored the strong collaboration between provincial and municipal leaders in delivering responsive and people-centered public service.

The program directly benefited the following barangays:

• Bacolod

• Patag

• Bool Central

• Bool East

A Smart TV was also turn over to Brgy. Bool Central, more than a vital infrastructure initiative, Patubig sa Barangay is a source of hope and empowerment. Access to clean water safeguards public health, improves sanitation, and supports everyday household needs. For farmers, it means improved productivity; for families, better quality of life; and for children, a healthier environment where they can grow and thrive.

This initiative reflects the Provincial Government’s steadfast commitment to:
