NAVAL, BILIRAN – The leadership of Biliran Police Provincial Office, headed by Provincial Director PCOL ERWIN I PORTILLO, conducted a formal New Yearโs Call to the Honorable Governor ROGELIO J. ESPINA, M.D., FPOA, at the Provincial Capitol in Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran on January 21, 2026.
This significant event brought together the top brass of the provinceโs police force, including the Deputy Provincial Director for Administration (DPDA), Deputy Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO), Provincial Staff Officers, Unit Chiefs, the Force Commander of the BPMFC, Chiefs of Police (COPs), Municipal Executive Senior Police Officers (MESPOs), the Chief of the Provincial Legal Office (PLO), and the Provincial Internal Affairs Service (PIAS).
The New Yearโs Call is a long-standing tradition within the Philippine National Police (PNP), serving as a formal venue for officers to manifest their courtesy, loyalty, and support to the leadership. Beyond its ceremonial roots, the activity provided a vital opportunity to reaffirm the unity between the police force and the Provincial Government.
