Around 100 farmers from across the province gathered for the Clustered Vegetable Farmers Semestral Meeting, strengthening unity and commitment toward sustainable food production in Biliran.

He highlighted the Provincial Governmentโs continued support for farmers through training, infrastructure, and value-adding initiatives.
With support from Department of Science and Technology, additional equipment will boost vegetable and fruit processingโopening opportunities for innovative products and stronger market competitiveness.
One exciting future initiative is the provinceโs plan for contract growing, where the government will shoulder production costs and purchase the harvestโensuring no waste and guaranteed income for farmers.
