The Biliranon Award of Excellence on the occasion of the 34th Provincehood Anniversary is a provincewide search for Biliran’s outstanding and exemplary workers and volunteers, in the career and non-career services whether they receive compensation regardless of amount or not.

The award seeks to recognize and pay tribute to their significant effort in fostering goodwill among the people of the province, enhancing and promoting the image of the Biliranons as competent, responsible and dignified workers and officials with outstanding merit and/or dedicated performance of extraordinary contribution to public service, consistent demonstration of exemplary ethical behavior on the basis of their observance of one or more of the seven norms of behavior as provided in RA 6713 such as commitment to public interest, professionalisms, justness and sincerity, political neutrality, responsiveness to the public, commitment to democracy and simple living.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝟭: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟬𝟮 – 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Submission of Nominations to the Secretariat located at the Provincial Tourism Office, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝟮: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟯 – 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Five (5) day Preliminary Screening of Nominees by the Provincial Selection Committee.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝟯: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟬 – 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟬𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Five (5) day Validation and Ocular Interview.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝟰: 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟬𝟲 – 𝟬𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Final Judging and Ranking of Nominees.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝟱: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Conferment of Awards
