The Province of Biliran actively participated in the 2025 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit for High Functional Local Government Units (LGUs), spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The audit covered all municipalities of the province — 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮, 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹 — reflecting a strong and unified commitment to intensifying local anti-drug initiatives and sustaining drug-cleared communities.

Provincial officials highlighted that the ADAC Performance Audit serves as an important tool in evaluating the functionality and effectiveness of local anti-drug programs while strengthening collaboration among stakeholders.

“This activity reaffirms our shared responsibility to promote peace, order, and public safety across the Province of Biliran,” a provincial representative stated.
