Biliran Province is proud as PLT Cyra Braga Cordeta, daughter of Mr. Samson Pacayo Cordeta and Mrs. Lorna Braga Cordeta from Brgy. Looc, Cabucgayan, graduated from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) with the respected Silang-Paglaom Class of 2026. She is the only Biliranon in her class, showing her determination and the province’s rising tradition of excellence in public service.

PLT Cordeta marked a major milestone at the graduation ceremony held at Camp General Mariano M. Castañeda in Silang, Cavite, where she became a commissioned officer. Her success reflects years of hard work, resilience, and commitment to honor, justice, and serving the Filipino people.

Before graduating, on November 7, 2025, PLT Cordeta visited Governor Rogelio J. Espina at the Governor’s Office, Capitol Compound. Her courtesy call to the governor showed the strong support of Biliran Province’s leaders and the new generation of public servants. Among the highilights of her visit were her time as a cadet of PNPA and her hopes to serve the country.

Her story is not just a personal win but a shared success for Biliran Province. Starting from humble roots in Cabucgayan to reaching the national stage, PLT Cordeta carries the pride and hopes of her municipality and the province. Her achievement inspires young Biliranons, showing that determination and courage can lead to leadership and service.

Now stepping into her role as a police lieutenant, PLT Cordeta embodies the future of service and leadership—an enduring legacy of excellence for Biliran Province and the nation.
