The Provincial Government of Biliran, under the leadership of 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙧. 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙤 𝙅. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖,continues to demonstrate compassion and swift action in times of crisis through the distribution of financial assistance to fire victims in the Municipality of Naval on April 9, 2026.

A total of 10 families who suffered total damage and 23 families with partial damage received assistance to help them begin their recovery. The Provincial Government provided ₱20,000 for totally damaged homes and ₱10,000 for partially damaged homes, in coordination with the Municipal Government of Naval and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).

In his message, Governor Espina expressed his heartfelt concern for the affected families, emphasizing that while recovery may be difficult, they are not alone. He assured them that the Provincial Government is ready to extend help and support as they rebuild their lives.

“Bisan lisod ang sitwasyon, ania kami kanunay aron motabang ninyo,” the Governor shared, inspiring hope and strength among the victims.

This initiative reflects the province’s commitment to “Serbisyong Biliranon”—bringing timely assistance, compassion, and unity to every Biliranon in need.
