Meanwhile, 10 families from the Mamanwa Tribe were granted shelter assistance, reflecting the Provincial Government’s continued support for Indigenous Peoples and vulnerable sectors in the community.

Also among the beneficiaries were five students who received support under the Review Assistance Program to help them prepare for their licensure examinations, while 19 trainees enrolled in the Call Center Hub Training Program were granted financial subsidies aimed at enhancing their skills and opening more employment opportunities.
In his message, Governor Espina emphasized the importance of empowering and strengthening the local workforce as a driving force for the province’s continued growth and progress. He highlighted the need to create sustainable opportunities within Biliran so that every Biliranon may achieve stable and meaningful employment without having to leave their families behind in search of work abroad.
