DUAW Activity and AKAP Rice Distribution Bring Hope to More Families

HIGATANGAN, Biliran — The spirit of Serbisyong Biliranon continues to reach every corner of the province as 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙤 “𝘿𝙤𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙧” 𝙅. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖 led the successful DUAW (Dialogue with Unified Active Workers/Leaders) Activity and AKAP Rice Distribution in Barangays Mabini and Libertad, Higatangan.

Governor Espina expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the barangay officials, residents, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and students of Higatangan Elementary School and Limpiado National High School for the warm welcome and genuine support they extended to the provincial team.

The activity was more than the distribution of rice and assistance—it was an opportunity to listen to the concerns of the people, strengthen partnerships with local communities, and reaffirm the Provincial Government’s commitment to responsive and compassionate public service. Governor Espina also assured residents that additional requests from both barangays will be given attention in the coming months.

The success of the DUAW Activity and AKAP Rice Distribution was made possible through the dedication and cooperation of local leaders, volunteers, and partner agencies who worked together to ensure that assistance reached the families who needed it most.
