PATUBIG SA BARANGAY: Bringing Clean Water, Building Better Lives

The Provincial Government of Biliran successfully conducted the turnover of the Patubig sa Barangay Program on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 bringing another essential service closer to Biliranon communities.

Led by 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙤 “𝘿𝙤𝙠 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙧” 𝙅. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖,water pipes were officially turned over to the barangay officials of Baso and Casiawan in the Municipality of Cabucgayan, and Julita, Canila, Burabod, and Busali in the Municipality of Biliran during ceremonies held at their respective barangay multipurpose gyms.

Mayor Gemma G. Adobo of Cabucgayan graced the turnover ceremony as a guest, reaffirming the strong partnership between the Provincial Government and the Municipality of Cabucgayan in delivering meaningful programs that uplift the lives of every Biliranon.

More than the distribution of water pipes, the Patubig sa Barangay Program is a promise fulfilled—bringing safe, clean, and reliable water to communities that need it most. It reflects the Provincial Government’s unwavering commitment to protecting public health, improving daily living, and ensuring that no barangay is left behind in the province’s journey toward inclusive development.
