Biliran Provincial Hospital Opens CT Scan and 4D Ultrasound Units

A feeling of ease from anxiety, Biliranons patients needing medical procedure such as CT Scan and 4D Ultrasound no longer have to travel on emergency to the city for these procedures. Governor Gerard Espina led the inauguration of these facilities at the Biliran Provincial Hospital last August 22.

The CT Scan Unit comes as a grant from the HEALS Program of the DOH and the Asian Development Bank. This is seen as a welcome development considering the distance that patients have to travel to avail the procedure, especially on emergency cases.
