A Glimpse into Biliranโs Past
Situated in the Visayan archipelago, Biliranโs history is as rich and diverse as its landscapes. Once known as "Isla de Panamao," it was later renamed after "Biliran," derived from a native grass that thrived along its shores. This island province holds stories of resilience, from early settlements to its role in the fight for independence.
