From Naval, it will take a 15-20 minute ride to Brgy. Sampao via a junction from the national highway within the Naval-Almeria boundaries.  From there, the waterfalls can be reached after a 25-minute walk along a marked trail.  On the way up to Ulan-Ulan Falls you will pass by Sampaoan Falls, rather small but equally an exhilarating walk and a refreshing experience.

Along the same river in the hinterlands of Brgy. Sampao, this small waterfall is only about 5 minutes walk up from the Ulan-Ulan Falls.

Also located in Brgy. Sampao but further up in the jungle, the cascades can be reached through a 45-minute walk from the barangay.

The barangay is about 10-15 minutes from Almeria or 20-25 minutes from Naval by 4-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles. From there, the waterfalls cam be reached by walk in about 45 minutes.
