LOOK | DILG Biliran proudly recognizes all eight municipalities of Biliran Province for earning the Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) for CY 2024, as assessed by the Bureau of Local Government Supervision (BLGS).
This recognition is granted to LGUs that meet the following criteria:
Unqualified or Qualified Audit Opinion in the latest Commission on Audit (COA) report (as of September 27, 2024)
Full compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP), ensuring timely and complete posting of financial documents in three conspicuous places and the FDP Portal for the 2nd to 4th quarter of 2023 and 1st quarter of 2024
Since 2010, the GFH has served as a vital assessment tool in promoting transparency, accountability, and sound financial management among LGUs.
