Dept of Tourism 8 Regional Director Karen Tiopes meets Governor Dok Roger Espina in a courtesy visit with Provincial Tourism Officer Jun Oliva to offer support to Biliran’s tourism promotions and development programs. With La Routa Executive Director Jason Garrido, Dok Roger also declared approval for Biliran Province to host for the 2nd time the international La Routa / Adventure Racing World Series Competition on November 2025. True to its desire to become the adventure capital in Region 8, Biliran will host local and international teams traversing seas, rivers and mountains for 3-4 days in a 300km endurance race.
